Isabel Elizabeth was born about 1096 in Leicester, Leicestershire, England.  Isabel Elizabeth's father was Earl of Leicester Robert De Beaumont Earl of Leicester and her mother was Isabel De Crepi De Vermandois.  Her paternal grandparents were Roger de Beaumont and Adeliza (Adeline) Meulent; her maternal grandparents were Hugues De Crepi of France and Adelle (Adelaide) De Vermandois. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Robert "Bossu", Waleran IV, Adeline, Alice and Maud.  She was the oldest of the six children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Rainald, William III, Eleanor, Maud (Amicia) and Gundred (Adelaide).  She died after 1172.
