William Bassett 
William was born about 1194 in Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England. William's father was Alan Basset Lord Of Wycombe and his mother was Aline De Aline De Grey. His paternal grandparents were Of Headington Thomas Basset Of Headington and Adeliza (Alice) De Dunstanville; his maternal grandparents were Philip Fitzrobert Lord De Philip De Grey and Sedzilia De Berkeley. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Philip, Gilbert, Fulk, Thomas, Hawise, Aline, Alice and Katherine. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died in 1235.-
