Martha Zike 
Martha was born on October 10th, 1822 in Kentucky. Martha's father was Joseph Zike and her mother was Sarah Goforth. Her paternal grandparents were Jacob "Zeuch" Zike and Katherine Lucinda Avey; her maternal grandfather was Thomas, Sr. Goforth. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Jordan, Joseph, George W., Mary Jane, Margaret, Lydia, Lucy and Susan. She died at the age of 51 on March 6th, 1874 in Kentucky. She was buried in Nicholsville Cemetery, Nicholsville, Jessamine Co., Kentucky.-
