Levi Trisler 
Levi was born on April 30th, 1823 in Clermont County, Ohio. Levi's father was Leonard Trisler and his mother was Sarah Zike. His maternal grandparents were Jacob "Zeuch" Zike and Katherine Lucinda Avey. He had a brother and four sisters, named Jacob Levi, Eleonar, Hester Ann, Matilda and Pheobe Ann. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 70 on October 14th, 1893.General Notes
Levi moved his family from Clearmont County, Ohio to Shelby County,
Indiana in 1823, then to Keokuk County Iowa in 1849, on to Davis County,
Iowa 1850, moved to Decatur County, Iowa in 1861.

‌Levi and Cynthia Lynn were married in a religious ceremony before 1847. They had eight sons and three daughters, named William Leonard, James Irvin, Joseph A., George C., Wilson W., Francis S., Jacob A., Ulysses G., Mary Jane, Sarah A. and Cynthia Anna.
