Jacob Levi Trisler 
Jacob Levi was born on October 1st, 1827 in Clermont County, Ohio. Jacob Levi's father was Leonard Trisler and his mother was Sarah Zike. His maternal grandparents were Jacob "Zeuch" Zike and Katherine Lucinda Avey. He had a brother and four sisters, named Levi, Eleonar, Hester Ann, Matilda and Pheobe Ann. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 77 on April 22nd, 1905 in Decatur County, Iowa. He was buried in Metier Cemetery, Garden Grove, Decatur, Iowa.-
