William Snoddy

William was born about 1832 in Indiana.  William's father was Samuel Snoddy and his mother was Jane Shields.  His maternal grandparents were William L., Sr. Shields and Nancy Elizabeth Nash. He had two brothers and three sisters, named John M., James M., Nancy A., America and Martha P..  He was the oldest of the six children.
