Thomas Jefferson was born on May 19th, 1905. Thomas Jefferson's father was James Henry Shields and his mother was Emma Hensley. His paternal grandparents were David Thomas Shields and Sarah Frances Mize. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Marion, Wilburn, Clifford Tola, Woodrow, Sylvia, ?, ? and ?. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He had a half-sister named Martha Ellen. He died at the age of 65 on November 29th, 1970 in Monroe County, Indiana. He was buried in Knight Ridge Cemetery, Salt Creek Twp., Monroe Co., Indiana.-
