Sylvia Shields

Sylvia was born in 1903. Sylvia's father was James Henry Shields and her mother was Emma Hensley. Her paternal grandparents were David Thomas Shields and Sarah Frances Mize. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Marion, Wilburn, Thomas Jefferson, Clifford Tola, Woodrow, ?, ? and ?. She was the third oldest of the nine children. She had a half-sister named Martha Ellen. She died in 1903 in Monroe County, Indiana. She was buried in Knight Ridge Cemetery, Salt Creek Twp., Monroe Co., Indiana.
