Jennie Shields

Jennie was born in August 1909 in Monroe County, Indiana. Jennie's father was Benjamin W. Shields and her mother was Bertha Hyde. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Shields and Izella Todd. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Clarence, James E., Robert H., Benjamin "Bennie", Beatrice and Helen. She was the second oldest of the seven children.
