Jack Shields 
Jack was born on July 26th, 1908. Jack's father was Charles Edgar Shields and his mother was Elizabeth Jane Hedrick. His paternal grandparents were William C. Shields and Elizabeth A. Deckard. He had a brother and five sisters, named Brady Thacker, Lelia, Cordelia, Thursa, Goldie Lillian and Sylvia. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 10 on October 28th, 1918 in Bloomington ,Monroe Co., Indiana. He was buried in Clear Creek Cemetery, Clear Creek, Monroe Co., Indiana.-
