Herbert Shields 
Herbert was born on November 28th, 1885 in Monroe County, Indiana. Herbert's father was George Washington Shields and his mother was Ruth Todd. His paternal grandparents were James Madison Shields and Martha J. Sciscoe. He had a brother and a sister, named Ralph Alaric and Inez. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 75 on December 29th, 1960.-
