Harold Forest was born on December 21st, 1906 in Brown Co., Indiana. Harold Forest's father was Monroe Shields and his mother was Julia Lucas. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Shields and Sarah J. Sherrell. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Ernest, Ray, Lloyd, Elsie and Farie M.. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 71 on December 18th, 1978 in Belmont, Marion Co., Indiana. He was buried on December 20th, 1978 in Duncan Cemetery, Washington Twp., Brown Co., Indiana.-
