Ollie Owens

Ollie was born on October 19th, 1853 in Owensburg, Greene Co, Indiana.  Ollie's father was Lilburn Owens and his mother was Elizabeth Owen.  His paternal grandparents were John Owens and Anna Mason; his maternal grandparents were William Owen and Sally Crooke. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Marshall, Howard, Lowery, Juliet, Catherine, Lavina and Mary Belle. He had four half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Lovey, Alvin, John, William 'Bill', Charlotte, Eliza, Lizzie, Mary Jane, Jeanette 'Nettie' and Ada.  He died at the age of 69 on May 2nd, 1923 in New Albany, Indiana.

‌Ollie and Alice were married in a religious ceremony on March 13th, 1877.  They had a daughter named Estella Mae.
