William Masterson 
William was born on April 5th, 1778 in NC. William's father was Edward, Jr Masterson and his mother was Mary Coleman. His paternal grandparents were Edward, Sr. Masterson and Mary Lindsay; his maternal grandparents were Richard Coleman and Eleanor Critcher. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named James, Caleb, Lazarus, Mary, Leah, Leannah, Sarah "Sally", Winnifred "Winney", Delilah and Jane. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 80 on November 19th, 1858 in Pulaski, Kentucky. He was buried in Pulaski, Lincoln Co., Kentucky.General Notes
William Masterson was the father of 10 children, two of which died in
infancy.
He was under the guardianship of James Masterson. His share of the estate
was paid 6 Dec 1799.
