James M. Linnville 
James M. was born in 1844 in Shelby County, Indiana. James M.'s father was Lewis Linnville and his mother was Sarah Zike. His maternal grandparents were David Zike and Catherine Smith. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Jasper N., Lorenzo Dow, Lewis F., George, Oliver Perry, John W., Nancy Ann and Hester Ann. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 77 in 1921. He was buried in Bennett Cemetery, Shelby county, Indiana.-
