William Edgar Finchum 
William Edgar was born on April 21st, 1892. William Edgar's father was William Kenner (Buck) Finchum and his mother was Laura Belle Whitaker. His paternal grandparents were William Riley Finchum and Malinda J. Rogers; his maternal grandparents were Newton J. Whitaker and Sarah Ann Hamilton. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Cecil Seaton, Luther Ezra, Floyd Henry, Clifford Emerson, Maude A., Violet Lorena and Bessie Marie. He was the third oldest of the eight children.-
