Cecil Seaton was born on July 22nd, 1887 in Indiana. Cecil Seaton's father was William Kenner (Buck) Finchum and his mother was Laura Belle Whitaker. His paternal grandparents were William Riley Finchum and Malinda J. Rogers; his maternal grandparents were Newton J. Whitaker and Sarah Ann Hamilton. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William Edgar, Luther Ezra, Floyd Henry, Clifford Emerson, Maude A., Violet Lorena and Bessie Marie. He was the oldest of the eight children.-
