Jesse A. was born on May 14th, 1912 in Monroe Co., Indiana. Jesse A.'s father was William Perry Eads and his mother was Lida May Shields. His paternal grandparents were Henry Eads and Nancy Jane Sciscoe-Siscoe; his maternal grandparents were William Shields and Elizabeth Deckard. He had two brothers named Ansel and Robert E.. He had two half-brothers named Clarence Edward and Herbert. He died at the age of 78 on September 10th, 1990 in Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana. Jesse A. Eads, 78, of Bloomington, died Monday at his residence.
Born May 4, 1912, in Monroe County, he was the son of William and
Lydia Eads. He was a retired employee of Indiana University, attended
the Shilo Temple ad was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Jessie (Shields) Eads; three daughters,
Rhea Dawn Kelley and Shirley Deckard, both of Bloomington, and Delores
Roberts of Indianapolis; seven grandchildren; and seven
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Allen Funeral Home with the
Rev. Bruce Kelly and the Rev. Russell Elkins officiating. Burial will be
at the Smithville Cemetery.
Friends may call 5 - 9 p.m. today at the funeral
