James Robert "Dobby" Eads 
James Robert "Dobby" was born on June 11th, 1917 in Monroe Co., Indiana. James Robert "Dobby"'s father was James Walter Eads and his mother was Lola Jane Rush. His paternal grandparents were Henry Eads and Nancy Jane Sciscoe-Siscoe. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Glen, Charles H., Harold, Lee R., Ovid, Hubert, Mary Alice and Marce. He died at the age of 72 on May 23rd, 1990 in Jasper Nursing Home. He was buried in Presbyterian Cemetery, Ellettsville, Indiana.General Notes
James R. "Dobby" Eads, 72, of Bloomington, died Wednesday at the Jasper
Nursing Home.
Born June 11, 1917, in Monroe County, he was the son of James W. and
Lola J. (Rush) Eads. He was retired from the Crane Naval Weapons Support
Center.
survivors include his wife, Imogene (Wilson) Eads; one son, Dennis
G. Eads, two daughters, Reva Davis of Loogootee and Sheila L. Eads of
Bloomington; one brother, Lee Eads of Bloomfield; one sister, Mary Alice
Baxter of Bloomington; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, James Eads; and four brothers,
Glen Eads, Ovid Eads, Charles Eads and Marce Eads.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Greene and Harrell Mortuary with
the Rev. David Butcher officiating. Burial will be at the Presbyterian
Cemetery in Ellettsville.
