Elijah Eads 
Elijah was born on January 30th, 1860. Elijah's father was William Eads and his mother was Nancy Miller. His paternal grandparents were Isham Eads and Elizabeth Sowders. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Henry, David, Peter, Malissa, Louisa, Margaret, Jane and Mary Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 64 on May 13th, 1924. He was buried in Mt. Ebal Cemetery, Monroe Co., Indiana.General Notes

The Evening World 13 May 1924
The death of Eli Eads, a well known farmer of this county occurred this
morning at 10 o'clock, at his home southeast of Bloomington. death was
due to a complication of diseases. He was 63 years, 3 month, and 13 days
old at the time of his death.
Those left to mourn his loss are his wife, Mrs. Laura Alice Eads, Dillon,
Doyle and Glodene, all at home; Mrs. Ella Burkhart of Fort Worth, Texas;
Walter Eads of Clear Creek; Mrs. Maude Clay, Mrs. Dena Hendrix and Leslie
Eads, all of Bloomington.
The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Mt.
Ebal church, with the Rev. George Miller in charge. Burial will be at the
nearby Mt. Ebal Cemetery.

Elijah and Laura Alice were married in a religious ceremony on October 8th, 1882 in Monroe County, Indiana. They had four sons and six daughters, named Walter, Leslie, Dillon, Doyle, Ella, Edna, Zola, Maude, Glodene and Mary Mol Jane.

Walter was born on October 19th, 1885 in Monroe Co., Indiana. He died at the age of 86 on October 19th, 1971 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was buried in Mt. Ebal Cemetery, Monroe Co., Indiana.
Zola Eads
Zola was born on December 31st, 1894 in Monroe Co., Indiana. She was buried in Allens Creek Cemetery.
Maude Eads
Maude was born on November 9th, 1897 in Monroe Co., Indiana. She died at the age of 76 in 1973 in Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana.
Dillon Eads
Dillon was born on January 15th, 1903 in Monroe Co., Indiana. He died at the age of 71 on July 10th, 1974 in Bloomington Hospital, Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana. He was buried in Valhalla Memory Gardens, Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana.
