Henry Cooper 
Henry was born in 1770 in King William County,Virginia. He died at the age of 74 on May 3rd, 1844 in Wood County,WV.General Notes
Henry Cooper came to the area from Va. in 1804. He built what is known as the first two story cabin in the area near Mt Zion Church a part of which is a museum in the Parkersburg City Park. They have on file, a complete history of the Cooper family. It is cared for by the Daughters of the American Pioneers - of which I am a member. Hope this helps.
Henry and Lydia Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony in 1798. They had five sons and three daughters, named Benjamin J., James, John S., Harry, Lemuel, Nancy Ann, Serena and Mahala.

Nancy Ann Cooper
Nancy Ann was born on July 26th, 1803. She died at the age of 68 on August 26th, 1871.
Benjamin J. Cooper
Benjamin J. was born on April 18th, 1806. He died at the age of 83 on April 14th, 1890.
Henry Morton (Harry) Cooper
Henry Morton, known as Harry, was born on April 28th, 1816. He died at the age of 76 on October 20th, 1892.
Lemuel Cooper
Lemuel was born on March 30th, 1818. He died at the age of 59 on September 12th, 1877.
