Henry Morton (Harry) Cooper

Henry Morton, known as Harry, was born on April 28th, 1816.  Harry's father was Henry Cooper and his mother was Lydia Elizabeth Posey. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Benjamin J., James, John S., Lemuel, Nancy Ann, Serena and Mahala.  He was the second youngest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 76 on October 20th, 1892.

‌Harry and Dorcas were married in a religious ceremony on November 29th, 1838 in Wood County,WV.
