William Mitchell Clay 
William Mitchell was born in 1711 in Chesterfield,Virginia. William Mitchell's father was Henry Clay and his mother was Mary Mitchell. His paternal grandparents were Charles Clay and Hannah Wilson; his maternal grandparents were William Mitchell and Elizabeth Innes. He had three brothers named Charles, Henry II and John. He died at the age of 63 on September 6th, 1774 in Point Pleasant,Virginia.-
