Tabitha Tefft 
Tabitha was born about 1653 in Newport,Newport Co.,RI. Tabitha's father was John Tefft and her mother was Mary Barber. Her paternal grandfather was William Tefft. She had two brothers and a sister, named Samuel, Joshua and Mary. She was the youngest of the four children. She died in 1722.General Notes
