Joseph Gardiner

Joseph was born about 1668 in Newport,Newport Co. RI.  Joseph's father was George Gardiner and his mother was Lydia Ballou.  His paternal grandparents were Michael Gardiner and Margaret Browne. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Robert, Peregrine, Lydia and Mary. He had nine half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Edward, Robert, Benoni, Benoni, Henry, George , Jr., William, Nicholas, Samuel, Dorcas and Rebecca.  He died on August 22nd, 1726.
