Alexander Crichton

Alexander was born on March 11th, 1809 in Markinch,Fifeshire,Scotland and his baptism took place there on April 15th, 1809. Alexander's father was John Crichton and his mother was Margaret Dewar. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Crichton and Helen Horn. He had two brothers and three sisters, named David, John, Margaret, Helen and Mary. He was the oldest of the six children.
