Mary Ann was born in 1813.  Mary Ann's father was Ninian Beall and her mother was Rachel H Grove.  Her paternal grandparents were Ninian Beall and Ann Sissell. She had five brothers and four sisters, named George Washington, Thomas Birch, Horatio Horace, Alexander Evans, Andrew Jackson, Ann Elizabeth, Harriett, Eliza Jane and Maria Susan.  She was the third oldest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 44 in 1857.
