Samuel Lafayette Wexler 
Samuel Lafayette was born in 1857 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Samuel Lafayette's father was Daniel Bacon Wexler and his mother was Elizabeth Gallien Duncan. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Wexler and Polly Brown; his maternal grandfather was Alfred Duncan. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John Melanethon, Alfred Duncan, Edwin Benjamin, David Fleming, Mary Elizabeth and Rhoda Douglas. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 5 in 1862.-
