Samuel Strickler 
Samuel was born on March 2nd, 1853 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Samuel's father was John Strickler and his mother was Mariah Hartman. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Strickler and Sarah Ann Frazier. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John Washington, Abijah, Sarah Ann, Eliza Jane, Mary E. D. and Christina Alice. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 1 on December 5th, 1854 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.-
