John Strickler 
John was born on January 9th, 1832 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. John's father was Samuel Strickler and his mother was Sarah Ann Frazier. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Strickler and Christina Burner. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Benjamin, Reuben C., Abijah B., George Washington, Samuel, Mary Ann, Sarah, Ann, Caroline, Amanda Jane and Eliza Jane. He died at the age of 89 in 1921 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.-
