Samuel Steele Spahr

Samuel Steele was born in 1880 in Washington County, VA.  Samuel Steele's father was John Randolph Spahr and his mother was Sarah Ketron.  His paternal grandparents were George Washington Spahr Jr. and Mary Ann Fleenor. He had three brothers and a sister, named Joseph Howery, Neal Bradford, John Randolph and Mary Elizabeth.  He was the oldest of the five children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named George Henry, William Homer and Sarah Matilda.  He died at the age of 64 in 1944.
