Joseph Howery Spahr

Joseph Howery was born in 1882 in Washington County, VA.  Joseph Howery's father was John Randolph Spahr and his mother was Sarah Ketron.  His paternal grandparents were George Washington Spahr Jr. and Mary Ann Fleenor. He had three brothers and a sister, named Samuel Steele, Neal Bradford, John Randolph and Mary Elizabeth.  He was the second oldest of the five children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named George Henry, William Homer and Sarah Matilda.  He died at the age of 57 in 1939.
