Matilda Skelton 
Matilda was born in 1848 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee. Matilda's father was Samuel Skelton and her mother was Julia. Her paternal grandparents were James Skelton and Anna Curry. She had a brother and three sisters, named John, Sarah, Julia and Mary. She was the oldest of the five children. She had two half-sisters named Anna Jane and Elizabeth. She died in Texas.
