Marmaduke Simms 
Marmaduke was born about 1694 in Charles County, Maryland. Marmaduke's father was Anthony Semmes and his mother was Ann Sissons. His paternal grandparents were Marmaduke Semmes and Fortune Watson; his maternal grandparents were Edward Sissons and Alice. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Anthony, Electius, Fidelmus, Bertha, Mary and Jane. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died before January 17th, 1739.-
