Marshall Shipley 
Marshall was born in 1832 in Tennessee. Marshall's father was Caleb Shipley and his mother was Elizabeth Galloway. His paternal grandparents were Eli Shipley and Elizabeth Kingston. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Washington, John Childers, James H., Wesley P., Elkanah, Edna, Annie, Amanda Elizabeth and Susan Louisa.
