Christian Elizabeth was born on April 27th, 1849 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Christian Elizabeth's father was Benjamin Shipley and her mother was Nancy Jane Copus. Her paternal grandparents were Joshua Shipley and Mary Strickler. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Joshua, Nathan, Benjamin, John C., Martha, Mary Jane, Sarah and Selina. She died at the age of 81 on August 3rd, 1930 in Putnam County, Missouri.-
