George Daniel Shehorn 
George Daniel was born on April 15th, 1794 in , Greensville, Virginia. George Daniel's father was John Shehorn and his mother was Crissy Cato. His paternal grandparents were Wilson Shehorn and Mrs. Shehorn; his maternal grandparents were John Cato and Elizabeth Moss. He had a brother and three sisters, named Henry, Martha Or Patsey, Julia and Tempa. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 82 on May 6th, 1876 in , Wayne, Illinois. He was buried in Hale Cemetary, Indian PR. Twp., Wayne, Illinois.General Notes

to Alexander Madill.
Among other bequests, was a slave named Cherry to be given to John 's
children when they reached 18 or married.
The young children were: Henry, Patsy, Julia, Tempa, and George.
6 Jan 1821, George sold this slave to Alanson A. Massey.
George's last deed in Greensville was dated 1833.
Crissy Cato was given Cherry in a 1788 will by her father.
