Cora Jane was born about 1891 in , , Illinois. Cora Jane's father was Ambrose Daniel Shehorn and her mother was Harriet Josephine Henderson. Her paternal grandparents were George Daniel Shehorn and Emily Harrison James; her maternal grandparents were William Henderson and Elizabeth Ferguson. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Edward S., Oliver Howard, Ella May, Annie E. and Myrtle Wilma. She was the youngest of the six children. She died on November 7th, 1957.-
