William Ridley 
William was born in February 1767 in , , Virginia. William's father was George Ridley and his mother was Elizabeth Maria Weatherford. His maternal grandparents were Major Weatherford and Elizabeth Edwards. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Beverly, George, John, Lettie, Martha Or Patsy, Elizabeth and Sarah. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He had six half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Vincent, Thomas, Moses, James, Samuel Jones, Henry, Abigail and Winifred. He died at the age of 20 in 1787.-
