Louisa Or Lou C. was born on September 2nd, 1846 in , Bourbon, Kentucky. Louisa Or Lou C.'s father was Greenberry Reid and her mother was Amanda Langston. Her paternal grandparents were William S. Reid and Jemima Hedges; her maternal grandparents were Abraham Langston and Isabella Clark. She had three brothers and two sisters, named John W., George Washington, Henry Clay, Agnes and Amanda Jane. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 26 on April 25th, 1873 in , Bourbon, Kentucky.-
