William Phipps

William was born on January 26th, 1768 in , Botecourt, Virginia.  William's father was Joshua Phipps and his mother was Hester Aston.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Phipps and Elizabeth. He had four sisters named Willana Wilma, Deborah, Sarah Erwin and Elizabeth.  He was the third oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 88 on November 6th, 1856 in Stony Point, Hawkins, Tennessee.
