Edward Ervin Phipps 
Edward Ervin was born on March 4th, 1791 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Edward Ervin's father was William Phipps and his mother was Sarah Erwin. His paternal grandparents were Joshua Phipps and Hester Aston; his maternal grandparents were Edward Erwin and Mary. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Joshua, William Pitt, James Surguine, Thomas Milligan, Wesley Asbury, Fletcher Watson, Mary, Hester Or Hattie Aston, Elizabeth Sarah, Margaret, Wilma Or Willie Ann and Sarah Jane. He was the second oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 42 on April 1st, 1833 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.-
