John Oliver 
John was born on December 16th, 1785 in Guilford Co., NC. John's father was James Oliver and his mother was Susannah Lemons. His paternal grandparents were George Oliver and Jemima Reagan; his maternal grandfather was John Lemons. He had two brothers and five sisters, named James, Samuel, Mary, Sarah, Susannah, Elizabeth and Nancy. He was the oldest of the eight children.-
