Barbara Merritt 
Barbara's father was Thomas Merritt and her mother was Mary Goodson. Her paternal grandparents were John Merritt and Mary Haywood; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Goodson and Elizabeth. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Benjamin, James, William, Charlotte, Frances, Margaret, Martha and Mary.
