Texana Mayo 
Texana was born in 1846 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Texana's father was Richard P. Mayo and her mother was Elizabeth. Her paternal grandparents were Reuben Mayo and Jane. She had five brothers and three sisters, named John, George, William, James, Wilie W., Nancy Ann, Mary and Sarah. She was the third youngest of the nine children.
