Reuben Mayo 
Reuben was born in 1850 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Reuben's father was Andrew Mayo and his mother was Margaret Ann. His paternal grandparents were Reuben Mayo and Jane. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, James B., William, Annis and Mary Jane. He was the second youngest of the six children.
