Jonas Lawson 
Jonas was born in 1707 in , Lunenburg, Virginia. Jonas' father was William Lawson and his mother was Isabel Kenney. His maternal grandfather was John Kenney. He had three brothers named John, Bartholomew and William. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died about 1771 in , Bedford, Virginia.General Notes

A Jonas Lawson of Henrico County lived next to Andrew Moorman in 1 727.
Either this Jonas was born sooner than one would think, or there wa s a Jonas
Sr. At any rate, I believe that this is how Moorman Lawson (Hawkin s County,
Tennessee) came to be.
