Absalom Arthur Kyle 
Absalom Arthur was born on February 20th, 1818 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Absalom Arthur's father was Absalom Kyle and his mother was Barsheba Whitehead Cobb. His paternal grandparents were Robert Kyle and Leah Brooks; his maternal grandparents were Pharoah Cobb and Barsheba Whitehead. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named William Caswell, Robert P., Stokley, Joseph, Jesse, Claiborne, Leonidas Netherland, Gale, Minerva, Ailsey, Barsheba, Annis and Mary Sidney. He was the third oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 67 on November 15th, 1885 in Whitesburg, Hamblen, Tennessee.-
