Philip Kite 
Philip was born in 1844 in Virginia. Philip's father was William Kite and his mother was Elizabeth Kite. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Kite and Susannah Kite. He had four brothers and four sisters, named James, George Martin, Fielding Wise, Henry J., Mary Jane, Barbara, Elizabeth and Arabella. He was the second oldest of the nine children.-
