Philip Kite 
Philip was born about 1794 in Rockingham Co., VA. Philip's father was Philip Kite and his mother was Mary. His paternal grandparents were John Wendel Kite and Hannah Medlicott. He had six brothers and a sister, named Henry, Christian, Michael, Benjamin, William, John and Mary. He was the youngest of the eight children.-
